Dense, deep red-purple
aromas of dark plum, licorice, prune and blackberry are followed
by a palate every bit as monumental as the colour and bouquet
suggest, with volumes of black fruits balanced by strong savoury
tannins. The components are in balance, but the wine needs a minimum
of 10 years to realise its full potential.

2003 Shiraz Grenache
Inky purple; another massively constructed
and slightly extractive wine, the tannins forceful and needing
to settle.

Strong, bright red-purple; juicy black and redcurrant fruit,
spice and chocolate aromas are followed by an abundantly flavoured

Not jammy.
